EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh, Wisconsin concluded recently, but here is what has happened since:

• The German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) has begun testing unmanned gyrocopters to transport larger cargo items.

• Korean Air successfully tested its 500MD unmanned helicopter. 

• EASA moves toward establishing first certification rule for eVTOLS.

• NEC Corporation test flew its first eVTOL.

• AirSatOne tested Satcom connectivity for ‘Beyond Line of Sight’ (BLOS) operations.

• New Manta-ray inspired Lilium Jet sketches were revealed.
