Flying car company HT Aero raises over $500m

HT Aero, the flying car company backed by Chinese electric vehicle company Xpeng, has raised more than $500m. It will aim to roll out a new model that has the ability to operate in the air and on roads by 2024.

California-based Reliable Robotics announced its $100m Series C funding led by Coatue Management. It will deliver an autonomous solution for cargo operations.

Japan Airlines to acquire up to 100 Vertical Aerospace eVTOLs

Japan Airlines intends to lease or purchase up to 50 of Vertical Aerospace’s VA-X4 air taxis from aircraft lessor Avolon. It holds the option to lease another 50 units.

Israeli startup unveils electric flying car for consumer travel

AIR says its AIR ONE aircraft, an all-electric two-seater eVTOL, will fly 110 miles on a single charge at speeds of up to 155 miles per hour, with a flight time of one hour.
