Volatus Infrastructure has become a strategic partner of Israeli OEM, Air for eVTOL infrastructure and charging.

The agreement will allow AIR’s customers to use Volatus vertiports. AIR will also assist Volatus with business development in Israel to help establish a local infrastructure ecosystem.

Grant Fisk, Volatus Infrastructure, co-founder said: “The more vehicle manufacturers like AIR that we can work with the faster the industry will achieve standardisation. Working with a vehicle manufacturer such as AIR that has the same vision for the foundation of this industry really allows us to continue our actionable plan of bringing eVTOL transportation into today’s market.”

AIR has over 200 US-based preorders for their AIR One vehicle with most customers in more rural areas. AIR is focused on expanding the reach of personal eVTOL flight, its inaugural two-seater eVTOL will allow individuals the ability to “drive in the sky”.

Rani Plaut, AIR CEO and co-founder said: “Ensuring access to infrastructure for AIR customers in rural areas is a priority of ours that Volatus will play a significant role in helping us achieve. We believe that industry collaboration is vital to the realisation and acceptance of AAM around the world and we look forward to building as many relationships as we can.”

Founded in 2021, Volatus offers three main eVTOL infrastructure designs, a vehicle agnostic charging station, plus an app and maintenance programmes.
