Dufour Aerospace completes Series B investing from Vista Global
Dufour Aerospace has completed a Series B funding with investors including private aviation group, Vista Global.
In addition to Vista, the existing investors and two new investors participated in the funding round. Vista’s investment will be aimed at developing Dufour’s tilt-wing technologies and aerospace products, Sascha Hardegger, CCO, told Revolution.Aero.
“Investment will go mainly into the Aero2 – which is really the technological base for Aero3 – in 2023 and into 2024, with a view to both technology and business development,” said Hardegger. “For 2023, there are several development milestones with different prototype generations and demonstration activities. The serial production start of the first Aero2 version is scheduled for 2025.”
Thomas Pfammatter, CEO, Dufour Aerospace AG said: “We are delighted this financing round was led by Vista, an esteemed global leader in private aviation. Their investment is an important milestone in our journey. They recognise the importance of developing successful products and solutions to support the future of hybrid-electric tilt-wing aircraft.”
Thomas Flohr, founder and chairman, Vista said Dufour has huge potential to supplement Vista’s global service network in the future. “It is an exciting time for Dufour, and this investment is in line with our strategy of supporting environmental air mobility solutions which further reiterates our commitment to ensuring a greener future for our industry,” added Flohr.
