Ampaire opens new headquarters at Long Beach Airport

The ribbon has been cut at Ampaire’s new headquarters based at Long Beach Airport in Los Angeles County.

The new headquarters will support Ampaire’s team growth and expanded research and development initiatives. It will also serve as a base for collaboration with stakeholders in the aviation and clean energy sectors, said the company. The ribbon-cutting event was open to the public, and attendees included media, industry professionals and local community members.

“We are thrilled to have opened our new headquarters at Long Beach Airport,” said Kevin Noertker, CEO of Ampaire. “This facility will not only be the heart of our operations but also a hub for innovation, where we will continue to develop and deploy cutting-edge electric aircraft technologies. Our new location strengthens our commitment to sustainability and our mission to lead the aviation industry into a new era of eco-friendly flight.” 

Ampaire’s move to Long Beach Airport will see it contribute to the region’s aerospace ecosystem, creating new jobs and advancing technological advancements that it hopes will benefit the local economy.

Wang, Director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), added: “Ampaire’s journey to the state-of-the-art facility at Long Beach Airport is a testament to the power of innovation and collaboration. At ARPA-E, we are proud to support pioneers like Ampaire, whose groundbreaking work in hybrid-electric aviation is reshaping the future of flight.”
