Eve, Revo and OHI complete UAM simulation in São Paulo
Eve Air Mobility has completed an urban air traffic simulation in Brazil’s capital São Paulo in partnership with Omni Helicopters International and its subsidiary Revo.
The simulation, which used Revo’s helicopters and Vector, Eve’s Urban air traffic management (Urban ATM) software product, took place at Revo’s operations control centre in late October.
Shadowing helicopter operations, Vector simulated the management and tracking of eVTOL operations in an urban environment. The simulation included applying necessary services to respond to scenarios, including delay on departure and to destination, airspace and weather constraints and in-flight deviation to alternate landing locations.
“This simulation reinforces Eve’s efforts to introduce eVTOL flights to metropolitan areas and provide communities with an additional mode of transportation that is safe, sustainable, and efficient,” said Eve CEO Johann Bordais. “We’re delighted to partner with Revo for this initiative to foster the urban air mobility market in Latin America’s largest city, aiming to conduct a real-world simulation to set the stage for urban flights in Sao Paulo in a climate-conscious manner.”
With more daily helicopter operations than any other city, São Paulo represents a “significant” opportunity for eVTOLs. In light of that, Eve and Revo have also been jointly encouraging AAM stakeholder collaboration to develop operations practices, air management protocols and ground handling.

Revo has also pre-ordered up to 50 of Eve’s eVTOL, it will also have access to Eve TechCare, the firm’s all-in-one service portfolio for eVTOLs, and Vector.
